We met through gaming. We both loved playing CSGO with our mutual friends. Now we've been together for almost 3 years. I knew gaming was his most favorite thing to do and I didn't think nothing of it until it got worse.
He wakes up at 1 in the afternoon and directly goes to his gaming set up. This is where he will be until 5 in the morning (he doesn't work). This isn't what bothers me. What bothers me is that he'll skip classes (that he's paying for out of pocket!) and go as far as lying to the professor because he doesn't want to go to class cause he doesn't want to get off his game. In addition to that, I see him once a week (my fault: I'm a full time student and work part time) but when I do, I can't get him off his electronics. At his house, I'll sit on his coach and stare at the wall while he plays all through our date time. When we go out to eat, he'll pull out his phone and check twitter for game updates. When we're having serious talks, he'll be gaming. When I get to his house and text him "I'm here" he'll leave me out in the cold until he can get to a stopping point in his game.
I love my boyfriend so much and I enjoy watching him get so excited about gaming. I also enjoy gaming with him very much. However, he wasn't always this addicted. How do I approach him? What do I say?
